Here comes the Judge!
One of my most exciting opportunities came when ALCA invited me to be a judge at the annual awards program. I was flown to Washington DC and spent the weekend viewing projects from all over North America. What an honour to be chosen! Having won several awards for our work, ALCA thought that I was a good candidate for this job.

Hot time in the old town!
Well Calgary was certainly a fun place to be if you are a hockey fan! Our Calgary Flames made it to the Stanley Cup finals and we made the most of it. My great friend and huge hockey fan, Connie Balint from Buckingham Greenery in Virginia made two appearances here and we had an exciting time seeing a few games, taking in the "Red Mile" and lots of partying.

Extreme Makeover!
We were thrilled with the opportunity to "makeover" the very overgrown and tired Nexen atrium (the old Nova atrium) It was a huge effort and our Greenery staff worked tirelessly over a long weekend. The results were outstanding. Take a look at the before and after pictures.
