Once again we attended our annual industry conference, which was held in Palm Springs this year. In the past Greenery has been recognized for our award winning projects such as the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the Sheraton Eau Claire and Fluor Canada. This year we decided that we should recognize one of our own. Linda Anderson, a 13 year employee with Greenery received an award for her outstanding horticultural work and dedication. We would like to send out a special thank you to all of Linda's clients who responded with tremendous letters of support. After the conference, Linda, Jacinthe, Rennie and his wife Joanne enjoyed a few days of the California sun and beach. Since this was Linda's first time on a plane, you can imagine that this experience was extraordinary.

Stampede Fun with the Chickwagon Foundation
The Chickwagon Foundation for Women continues to support the YWCA and the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter through the Chickwagon Trust fund. In addition to the Trust Fund, a graduate scholarship to a Master's student in Social Work at the University of Calgary has been established to focus on education and how it relates to Domestic Violence. Since the Chickwagon was established, the Chicks have given back over $500,000 to charity in donations and gifts in kind. Greenery is proud to support the Chickwagon in the Scholarship Fund.|
